Mindteck shares Smart City Expertise at Smart Cities Council Summit

Bengaluru, India – February 17, 2016: Mindteck (India) Limited (BSE: MINDTECK), a global technology company, was one of the co-sponsors of the 3rd Smart Cities Council Summit held in Mumbai last week.

The main objective of this global event was to enable city leaders and urban planners from various countries to understand the comprehensive framework of an Indian smart city. The event was well-attended by technology experts, municipal and city officials, academicians and urban infrastructure planners. As part of the event, “The India Readiness Guide” was launched to help local governments and municipalities build an action plan for the smart cities in India.

Describing the launch as a significant first step by India to put its mark on the global smart cities stage, Pratap Padode, founder of the Smart Cities Council India, indicated that the country could now become an ‘incubation lab’ for urban solutions. He said, “The Smart Cities Council has launched this to help cities plan their blueprint better. It is also offering workshops for municipalities seeking training and capacity building.”

Mindteck Showcases Egovernment Solution at Municpalika 2015 in Jaipur

Mindteck (India) Limited (BSE: MINDTECK), a global technology company, announced that it has won a prestigious state government contract, along with two other technology companies. The consortium will integrate various Nagar Parishads under one platform to enable the implementation of eNagarpalika.

In tandem with the other two consortium partners, Mindteck will implement the complete portal and will work with the Government to deploy technical resources. The project, which is in line with the Government of India’s digital and smart city initiatives, will enable the delivery of government services integrated with various Zila Parishads under one platform. It will benefit citizens by enabling easy access to services, such as birth and death certificates, building approval permissions, property tax and other government-related documents and services.
